TI has operations in Singapore, United Kingdom, P R China and Vietnam. The overseas development strategy was to develop concurrently in one selected country with identical courses to those offered in Singapore enabling that base to offer support and assistance for each new foreign venture....

Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering

Description

This innovative distance learning BEng (Hons) Degree programme offers a unique opportunity to students unable to attend the University. The programme covers the fields of both electronics and electrical engineering, while it also introduces control, measurement and instrumentation, SCADA and PLCs, management accounting, and operations management.

It would ideally suit a person working at technician level with ambition to move into technical management, or a more senior engineer who has encountered a "glass ceiling" due to the lack of a degree. Experience has shown that many engineering graduates find themselves moving into management roles at some point in their career. This course prepares them for that transition, making them a more attractive proposition for such appointments.
